Hi,

Hi, I’m Caroline

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (#002287) in the state of New York, practicing in Manhattan and Brooklyn. I hold a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology: Emphasis in Professional Clinical Counseling, and Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute and a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science from the University of Oregon.

Prior to my work as a psychotherapist, I began my professional career by diving headfirst into the tech startup world; first in Portland, OR, then New York City. I have over 10 years of experience working for both a New York based startup and a global ecommerce company.

Despite checking many of the boxes of early adulthood, which included engaging in work I genuinely found interesting, I couldn’t shake the feeling that there had to be more. It was through this journey that I discovered the power of listening to, and trusting, my intuition, which led me to pursue a career in psychotherapy.

Drawing on my professional background and clinical experience, I offer clients a distinct perspective on career and work life issues. I know first hand the unique challenges and excitement of moving to a new city, starting a new career, and navigating personal and familial relationships at Quarterlife.

I view therapy as a joint endeavor to create new meaning and help clients reclaim their strengths. I encourage clients to carefully listen and explore their inner world as a path to self-discovery, transformation and healing.

  • I obtained my Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute, a clinical psychology and depth psychology institution. My training is rooted in depth psychology, which seeks to explore and uncover the underlying (unconscious) patterns, motivations, and complexities that influence an individual's behavior and experiences. I began my clinical training at NYC Counseling, where I had the privilege of working with diverse clients seeking therapy focused on self-esteem development, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, sexual identity, trauma, grief, and life transitions.

Over the years, my clinical training was further enhanced through positions at Thrive Counseling Center, and New York Therapy Practice. I now work in private practice providing psychotherapy, couples therapy and coaching. I am committed to providing LGBTQ+ affirmative care, and specialize, but not limited to, working with individuals at the quarter life stage of life.

It is by going down into the abyss that we recover the treasures of life. Where you stumble, there lies your treasure.
