You had the power all along my dear, you just had to learn it for yourself.
— Glinda the Good Witch, The Wizard of Oz
Approach
My philosophy as a therapist is founded on a deep respect for the complexity of being human. I believe in people, and their capacity to change, grow and thrive.
I view therapy as a collaborative process. It is an active, and ongoing process in which you enter into a relationship with yourself and your therapist.
I provide a safe space for freely exploring who you are. I will help you work through challenges and gain insight into what got you here today, and where you’d like to go. I’m here to listen deeply with attention, curiosity, and patience in order for both of us to gain insight.
By building a trusting relationship, we’ll look at what is,and is not working in your life, identify healthy patterns and explore the roots of patterns that are no longer serving you. We’ll build your capacity to identify, and feel your feelings in order to strengthen your ability to listen and trust yourself.
